Ottawa Refuge Conservation Day 2007
Earth Day, the perfect time to give back to our waterfowl refuges.
On Saturday April 21st, several OWA members in conjunction with the Green Creek Wildlife Society got together to give back to the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge...the mission of the day:   Install temporary erosion barriers and plant foliage to take the job over full time.

The Ohio Waterfowl Association strives to bring people togther and partner with other conservation groups to better leverage resources and assist members who desire to give back in the off-season by making improvements to our refuges and wild spots in Ohio.  Members say that nothing is more fulfilling than hunting over something you helped create and care for.  If you would like to get involved and give some "sweat equity" keep in touch with your OWA representative.  The OWA participates in many projects and opportunities to get involved through the year, and we need your help to make them successful!
