It used to be known as "The Annual Ohio Goose Hunt" but has grown year over year to encompass geese, ducks and many waterfowlers from surrounding states as well. On private land in central Ohio and welcome to anyone at all, for a small requested $10 donation, Andy Hogle put on another successful gathering of waterfowling brothers and sisters on January 6th & 7th, 2007. With 35 hunters and a dinner with an auction and a raffle that all together raised $735 for the OWA!! Thank you to everyone who supported and contributed to the success of the event. Special thanks go out to OWA member and Avery and Zink Calls Pro-staffer DeWayne Knight for bringing down a monster spread to hunt over, wildlife artist Dick Benson for his contribution of a beautiful print for auction and Doom Decoys for two spectacular readheads that went up for raffle as part of the dinner festivities.
